Virtual Reality might not be on your radar as a ’go to’ medium for your small business – yet – but you need to get onto it. Why? Because as consumer behaviour evolves alongside advances in tech – it’ll become vital marketing strategies and present opportunities for a new generation of products and services. That’s why Ben Wong and Charbel Zeaiter founded their Sydney-based startup, Academy Xi.

Academy Xi provides short courses in areas of science and technology on user experience design, service design and virtual reality design. They recently announced $260,000 in seed funding from Vivant Ventures and Annie Parker, angel investor and founder and chairwoman of Code Club Australia. And this week, they opened their Melbourne campus running out of the Dream Factory.
